Police looking for bank robbery suspect in Springettsbury Township

SPRINGETTSBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Police are looking for a man who they say held up the BB&T bank in Springettsbury Township on Thursday afternoon.

The man seen on surveillance cameras entered the bank located along the 2900 block of Whiteford Road shortly after 1 p.m. and demanded money from the teller, according to police reports.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was displayed and no one was hurt, authorities said.

The robber is described as a middle-aged white male, last seen wearing a light colored Nike baseball-style hat, a dark colored jacket and light colored pants.
