Some may argue there is no better combination than tasty food washed down by a good beer. At Snitz Creek Brewery, they work to make this a reality.

Located in Lebanon, Pa., the brewery offers some authentic Irish food and beer.

Chef Michael Culbert and owner Patrick Freer stop by the morning show today to give you a peek into what's cooking.

Today the chefs will be preparing a standard pork loin cure that will be fortified with an apple weisse wheat, which is the cut used for Irish bacon, or rashers. After that you are able to smoke this and you have Canadian bacon. The chefs will also make some homemade Irish cream.

Snitz is holding a special events on St. Patrick's Day, including a Keg & Eggs running from 8-10 a.m. and a Pub Fare special with that runs from noon - 9:30 a.m.

On March 23, there will be an Irish Beer Pairing special that offers a few different meal and beer pairing.

An example of an offer is a gooseberry cream ale can be paired with soda bread, salmon gravlox and kerrygold cheeses with sweet apple pie.
