Central PA Comic Con begins today, visits morning show

Previously scheduled to be held last weekend in Lancaster, the Central Pennsylvania Comic Con has been moved to the York Fairgrounds and is set to begin today, March 4 and run through the weekend.

Located at 334 Carlisle Ave. in York, the show hours are Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

All the previously scheduled guests are still set to perform, such as Nichelle Nichols who played Lt. Uhura in the original Star Trek Series. Also in attendance will be Billy West, who is widely considered the best voice actor in Hollywood. Billy voices most Loony Toons characters, Ren & Stimpy, Doug Funnie from the PBS Series and Phillip Fry in Futurama.

Finally, Steve Cardenas, the Red Ninja Power Ranger will be there along with the Comic Book Men – Ming Chen and Michael Zapcic. The Comic Book Guest of Honor, Bob McLeod, has worked on almost every character in the Marvel and DC Universe. All guests are set to perform and be present for all three days of the event.

Pictures can be taken with any of the guests for an additional fee, and Comic Con is also bringing The Mermaid Princess, who will be there Friday night , the Ice Princess on Saturday and the Snow Princess on Sunday for pictures with kids.

There will be over 100 vendors, artists and authors selling a variety of fandom and related items. Also, 2 rooms will be filled with programming all day including arts and crafts projects for kids, costume contests for all ages, and programs about comics like Dr. Who., Batman, Superman, Spiderman and more.

Ticket prices range based on age and for the amount of days you want to visit and on Saturday only the convention requests that no children's strollers be brought.
