JONESTOWN BOROUGH, Pa.–A Chinese restaurant in Lebanon County was burglarized twice in less than a week.

It happened last month at May’s Wok located along the 100 block of South Lancaster Street in Jonestown Borough.

Investigators say the suspect(s) turned off the electric to the shopping plaza by flipping off the breakers behind the building–thereby disabling the alarm system. The suspect then smashed the window to the front door to gain entry into the restaurant.

The first break-in happened on Feb. 16. The thief got away with approximately $1,500 by taking money from both the register and tip jar, police said.

The second burglary happened on Feb. 21 in which $100 was stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS.
