COLUMBIA, Pa.– A bench warrant has been issued for Allison Oberdorff, the Columbia woman accused of aiding her boyfriend in the Jan. 2016 stabbing death of her husband, says Brett Hambright, Lancaster County DA’s Media Specialist.

Oberdorff was scheduled to plead guilty on Tuesday on a third-degree felony charge of hindering apprehension and providing false information to law enforcement officers, court records show.

She did not appear at Lancaster County Court House on Tuesday.

A Columbia woman is facing charges after investigators said she lied to officers about her relationship with her husband’s accused killer and then tried to destroy evidence of their relationship.

Allison Oberdorff, 25, is charged with hindering apprehension and providing false information to law enforcement. She was arraigned on Feb. 26 and has since posted $100,000 bail.

Oberdorff’s husband, 45-year-old Michael Oberdorff Sr. was stabbed at their home along the 300 block of South Second Street in Columbia on January 15. When police arrived at the scene, Michael was on the floor of the bedroom covered in blood with stab wounds to his upper body. Michael told police, “Help me! Help me! I’m dying, Ronald stabbed me,” according to the criminal complaint. He was taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he later died.

Ronald Lee Sheetz, 42, is charged with criminal homicide in Michael’s death.

Police said Allison misled officers as to how Sheetz made entry into the house on the night of the crime and deleted numerous text messages that were exchanged between the pair, according to court documents.

Allison signed a consent, allowing police to examine property, including her cellphone. Police uncovered Sheetz’s cellphone number in her contacts under the name “Tiff.”

Investigators also determined that Allison let Sheetz into the house, after the two spent the day together, and then helped him exit the home after the stabbing, court documents state.

A preliminary hearing for Oberdorff is scheduled for March 21.

Sheetz has a formal arraignment scheduled on March 24. He remains in Lancaster County Prison without bail.
