Police seek new tips in Middle Paxton Twp. cold case

MIDDLE PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa.–It has been nearly 20 years since Kimberly Yohe was found dead in the Susquehanna River in Middle Paxton Township.   Pennsylvania State Police are now looking for new leads in the cold case.

Yohe was last seen at her home on May 8, 1996. Nearly two weeks later, Yohe’s partially naked body was discovered in the Susquehanna River. Her vehicle was found parked at a truck stop located along Interstate 81.  Investigators say Yohe had no prior police record, and was known to to frequent Gables Truck Stop.

She served one month in the United States Army, and held numerous jobs including secretarial, maintenance and security work.

Authorities say Yohe was known to stay out late and away from home over various periods of time.

Anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-472-8477. Callers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
