Disabled tractor-trailer creating traffic delays in York Township

YORK TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A disabled tractor-trailer in York Township is creating some traffic problems at Dairyland Square.

The tractor-trailer was hauling 40,000 pounds of compressed aluminum when the middle portion of the big rig collapsed, investigators said.

Police are on the scene at Dairyland Square near East Main Street and West Broadway.

Crews are currently working to offload the aluminum from the disabled tractor-trailer.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
