Coroner identifies child killed in hit and run accident in Perry County

PERRY COUNTY, Pa. – A 12 year old Perry County child,  run over multiple times in a hit and run accident last week, died of multiple blunt force trauma.  County Coroner, Michael Shalonis identified the victim as Alyssa Walker, who had special needs.  Her death was ruled accidental.

Alyssa was walking along Route 11/15, the Susquehanna Trail, in Watts Township, when she was struck and killed. It happened at about 9 pm on Thursday, March 10, just outside of New Buffalo.  The child was run over by multiple vehicles including a tractor trailer. None of the vehicles stopped.
