Downingtown man arrested after repairmen find child porn on computer, police say

NEW HOLLAND, Pa.–A Downingtown man has been arrested after computer repair employees found 53 images of child porn on his computer, according to police reports.

Allen E. Miller Jr., 61, is charged with two counts of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility.

Police began investigating Miller in Oct. 2015 after he took his computer hard drive to a computer repair shop in New Holland Borough. Employees examining the hard drive discovered images of child pornography and contacted police.

Miller turned himself in to New Holland Borough police on Monday. He was arraigned and later released on $50,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 28.
