New Holland, PA — The Lancaster County SPCA is asking for the public’s help to locate the owner of this injured animal.

A report was made to Cruelty Officers after the horse was found abandoned on the property of New Holland Sales Stable, according to the Lancaster County SPCA.

The stable management contacted the SPCA after a stable veterinarian assessed the condition of the horse.

The horse is an approximately 20-year-old Arabian/app pony cross.

It appeared to have been shot nearly 130 times with a paint ball gun, and is blind the right eye.  It also seemed to be sensitive to touch.

The horse was medicated for pain and transported to the New Bolton Center by Omega Horse Rescue.
