Man dies from injuries in Adams County crash

YORK COUNTY, Pa. – The York County Coroner says 47 year old John Mummert, of Gardners, Adams County, died Thursday afternoon at York Hospital’s Trauma Surgical ICU.

Mummert was critically injured in a single vehicle crash at 12:27 am involving rollover on Route 94 in Huntington Township, Adams County. He was sitting in the front seat passenger seat when the vehicle overturned.  Mummert was not wearing a seatbelt. After he was extracted from the vehicle he was flown to York Hospital.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital. The driver of the vehicle survived the crash. Pennsylvania Police are investigating.
