DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police identified Joshua Donovan, 31, of Halifax as the man killed in a one vehicle crash at about 11: 20 pm Sunday night in upper Dauphin County.

Investigators say Donovan was the driver of a 2002 Honda Civic.  He and passenger, David George, 29, also of Halifax, were traveling northbound at a high rate of speed on North River Road(Route 147) in Halifax Township. For an unknown reason Donovan lost control of the car.  It hit an embankment on the right side of the roadway, became air born and slammed into a tree. The force of the impact broke the front end away from the rest of the vehicle.

Donovan and George were both ejected from the car.  Neither man was wearing a seatbelt. Donovan was pronounced dead at the scene. George suffered serious injuries.
