STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Ferguson Township Police are investigating the weekend death of a Penn State student.  Officers  responded to a residence at 1101 West College Avenue Saturday afternoon for an expiration.

Upon arrival, they found Nicholas W. Snyder,  23,  of Chambersburg, deceased in his room.  There were no signs of foul play.

Preliminary investigation indicates Snyder’s death may be substance related.  An autopsy was performed Sunday.  The cause and manner of death, determined by the Centre County Coroner’s Office, are pending toxicology test results.

Snyder was a full time student majoring in hospitality management.
