YORK COUNTY, Pa- A Philly rapper who was temporarily staying in Dallastown is being charged with having dozens of child porn.
Duane Clinkscales Sr.,42, who according to his Facebook goes by the name, “Wiz Dinero”, was arraigned on Monday and charged with 28 counts of possession of child porn, four counts of disseminating child porn and one count of possessing an instrument of crime.
According to charging court docs, in July 2013 Detective Mark Baker, with Northern York County Regional Police, was conducting an undercover investigation into child porn using BitTorrent file-sharing application. He came across a computer that was downloading videos where underage girls perform sex acts on men.
Det. Baker tracked down the computer’s IP address to a home along on Tanglewood Lane in Dallastown where Clinkscales was temporarily staying court documents stated.
Baker went to the home with a search warrant and seized a number of items, including three laptop computers, police said. Baker found 28 images of child porn saved in one of the computers, which was registered in the name of “Wiz,” documents state.
Clinkscales was confronted by his former roommate about the images and he said “We all have our demons.”
According to Clinkscales Facebook, he is a rapper from the Philadelphia area.
Clinkscales is currently in York County Prison with a $50,000 bail.
