LEBANON, Pa.–Fire officials say careless disposal of smoking materials is to blame for a two-alarm fire in Lebanon City on Friday afternoon.
The fire broke out shortly before 3:40 p.m. at 42 N. 9th Street. The bottom floor of the building housed a barbershop and the second floor contained an apartment.
Five people were displaced, according to firefighters at the scene.
No one was hurt.
Damage is estimated to be between $50,000 and $60,000.
