HARRISBURG, Pa- Police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday evening in an Uptown Harrisburg neighborhood.

According to investigators, officers were called for reports of shots fired along the 200-block of Woodbine Street.

"I was actually sleeping, I heard what I think was like four shots and I came outside and I saw him actually laying on the ground," said witness, Andrew Semancik.

When police arrived they found the victim, John Carter, suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

The victim was having difficulty breathing and speaking. Carter was transported to Penn State Hershey Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

"This is a good neighborhood and it sucks it happened here," said Semancik.
