WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A York County man is facing numerous charges after police say he threatened to blow up the State Police barracks in Loganville.

Edward G. Law, 42, of Windsor, is charged with bomb threats, terroristic threats, DUI and driving under suspension.

According to the criminal complaint, Law allegedly told his wife he had a 9mm gun with six bullets and he planned to kill a state trooper with each bullet. He reportedly said if he could get his hands on more ammunition, he would shoot more troopers.

Law’s wife called state police on April 1, to report her husband was aggravated over a recent arrest in Red Lion.  Law was overheard  telling a friend on the phone that he planned to blow up the State Police barracks at Loganville with a high explosive device, according to court documents.

Troopers then issued a lookout warning on April 1 for Edward Law as posing a possible threat to law enforcement authorities.

Law left his home before state troopers arrived, but was later stopped in Adams County by the Cumberland Township Police, according to the criminal complaint. The arresting officer stated Law was highly intoxicated. He was subsequently taking to Adams County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail on DUI and driving while under suspension charges.

Law is expected to be arraigned at 1 p.m. this afternoon for the charges he faces in York County.
