COLD MORNING BUT CALMER
High pressure brings calmer conditions and with clear skies, temperatures will plummet to the 20s.
A coating of frost is very likely by morning. After a cold morning, Wednesday is a bit milder by afternoon with highs in the 50s. High clouds drift in throughout the day. Winds may pick up from time to time. The clouds will thicken towards evening as our next system approaches. Rain showers hold off until around midnight.
DAMP THURSDAY
Expect a cool, damp day as plenty of showers spread in across the area. Highs will only climb to the lower to middle 50s. Much colder air spills in again by Friday morning. This may cause a few snow showers to mix in by daybreak. It will be colder to end the week with highs in the lower to middle 40s.
CHILL CONTINUES INTO WEEKEND
The area remains under a blanket of chilly air to begin the weekend. Plenty of clouds and perhaps a few drops or flakes will keep temperatures in the lower 40s. More sunshine for Sunday will help temperatures climb to near 50 degrees. A warm front approaches Monday, bringing a mixture of clouds and sunshine. A stray shower can’t be ruled out.
