WELLSBORO, PA- A man from Tioga County has been arrested after a hit and run that killed a young girl Tuesday night.
Police say 24-year-old Devon Greeley of Wellsboro hit the 12-year-old girl near Wellsboro, and then left the scene.
According to WENY Sophia Campbell was riding her bike on route 287 when she was struck.
Sophia died from her injuries.
Greeley is charged with Accidents Involving Death, Homicide by Motor Vehicle, and Tampering with Evidence.
He is currently being held at Tioga County Prison with bail set at $650,000.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for Sophia’s funeral expenses.
