UPDATE:

Officials say seven puppies have died as a result from a fire that broke out in Lower Windsor Township early Saturday morning.

Fire crews were called to the 1300 block of Snyder Corner Road in  Lower Windsor Township for a house fire that broke out just before 8:00 a.m. Saturday.

When crews arrived on scene, the house was covered in flames.

According to the Fire Chief, one firefighter did suffered a minor leg injury and was taken to the hospital.

Seven dogs died in the fire. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the fire marshal.

The family was not home at the time of the fire.

LOWER WINDSOR TWP, Pa- Crews responded to an early morning house fire in York County Saturday. .

York County 911 says the fire broke out just before 8:00 a.m. along the  1300 block of Snyder Corner Road

No injuries have been reported. No one was home at the time of the fire officials said.

Investigators are looking into what caused the fire.
