Police seek to ID suspect who punched woman in her face

DAUPHIN COUNTY , Pa. – Swatara Police are on the look out for a man who punched a woman in her face.  The victim reported the assault to police on Friday, April 15, at about 6 p.m on Erb Street near 29th Street.

She said that the man followed her from the intersection of 29th and Derry Streets where the two had exchanged words after the man became angered about “something”.  The man got out of his car, walked up to her vehicle and punched the woman. He then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as hispanic or light skinned, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with short dark hair, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.

His vehicle was described as a grey or silver minivan with a white license plate starting with the letters VA. Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect in this case is asked to call the Swatara Police Department at (717) 564-2550 or to leave at tip at www.SwataraPolice.org.
