3 arrested for attempted robbery in Swatara Township

SWATARA TWP, Pa- Police are investigating after three suspects robbed a man in Swatara Township Tuesday morning.

According to police, just after 10:00 a.m. police were called to the 5000 block of Stacey Drive East, where they met a man who told police he had just been robbed by gunpoint.

The victim said his cell phone was stolen. Police were able to track the iPhone along Route 22 in Lower Paxton Township. When police attempted to stop the vehicle, 3 occupants bailed from the car and ran near 3932 Jonestown Road.

After a short police chase on foot, all three suspects were caught police said.

After police searched the car, they found the stolen items from the robbery as well as two handguns, marijuana and heroin.

The three suspects were arrested for charges of Robbery, Firearms Violations and Drug Charges.

The one arrested was a  16-year-old and his name is not being release at this time police said.

The other two arrested were 21-year-old Doshance Davis, and 19-year-old Julian Brown Jr. both of Harrisburg.
