York, Pa. - The York County Commissioners announced the winners of the Heroin Task Force Billboard Contest today. Artwork created by William Penn High School senior Hector Sherby and York Suburban High School junior Jack Korver will go on display across York County.

The contest called for students in grades 7 through 12 to submit an original anti-heroin message, which will be placed on billboards to raise awareness about the growing problem.

"I know many friends that lost someone to heroin, and I wanted to help them not be sad about it," said Hector Sherby, William Penn High School contest winner. "I wanted to help other people not use heroin."

The work will be on display on 10 to 12 billboards in York County for up to six months.
