GETTYSBURG, Pa.-- Senator Bernie Sanders visited Gettysburg College on Friday. He spoke to more than 2,000 people at the John F. Jaeger Center.

The Vermont senator called for a political revolution.

"The only way we do it is when you, you, and you and millions of other people stand up, fight back and demand the government that represents us all," Sen. Sanders said.

The crowd started lining up Friday morning to see Sen. Sanders. The energy filled crowd cheered for the senator as he spoke.

In his opening, statement he called for a change to economic inequality and political campaign funding. In the town hall meeting, he addressed questions from the public. He started by addressing changes on military issues.

"If we don't have the resources or the inclination to stand with our veterans when they come home, we should never send them off in the first place," he said.

Sen. Sanders said military action should no be the first action of diplomacy. He said looking at what happens once a dictator is removed, is the steps that need to be taken when considering military action.

Another question that came up was college education. Sen. Sanders said he wants everyone to have college education available to them.

"Every person who has the qualifications and the desire and the ability to be able to get an education should, regardless of the income of their families," Sen. Sanders said.

Sen. Sanders asked the the crowd to come out in force on Tuesday. He hopes for a record turnout in the primary.
