Police seek to ID suspects in weekend thefts

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – East Lampeter Township Police look to the public for help in identifying two suspects in two separate theft incidents.

In the first incident, at about 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 22, a male suspect allegedly stole an employee’s blue leather wallet and AT&T cell phone from behind the register area of the Speedway convenience store at 5387 Lincoln Highway East.  The wallet contained cash, credit cards and identification.

The suspect seen in a surveillance photo is described as a white male, between 18 and 25 years old, very thin build with brown hair.  He was driving a late 1990’s Cadillac or GM full size sedan.

Police are also seeking to identify a female suspect in a theft on Sunday at the Wal-Mart 2034 Lincoln Highway East.

The woman loaded a shopping cart with $671.58 worth of merchandise and attempted to leave without paying for the items.  When confronted by Loss Prevention, the woman ran away.  She is described as a white female between 20 and 30 years old with brown hair.
