SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A car slammed into a home early Thursday morning in Cumberland County.
According to Cumberland County 911 it happened just after 4:30 a.m. along the 100 block of Cleversburg Road in Southampton Township.
Officials say the homeowner was home with his wife and child. His wife was in the kitchen when the car came crashing through their living room. The wife did suffer minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The woman driving the vehicle was driving drunk, officials said. She also was taken to the hospital.
No word on the extent of their injuries.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating. The name of the driver wasn’t immediately released.
