SWATARA TWP., Dauphin County, Pa. –A Dauphin County man is arrested after police say he fired a shot inside his home during an argument and then lied to police about it. Police were called to 30 Cumbler Street in Steelton on April 27th around 5:24pm for a report of gun fire. Stephen Blackston had been arguing with his fiancee. No one inside the home appeared injured and Blackston and his fiancee denied any shots had been fired.

But when police came back with a search warrant the next day, they found evidence that a gun had been fired. Police say Blackston fired a handgun during the argument. Blackston was taken into custody and charged with Simple Assault, discharging a firearm in an occupied space. recklessly endangering and persons not to possess firearms.
