Rain Total

COOLER, MORE SHOWERS: Thursday is a relatively drier day throughout the Lower Susquehanna River Valley, but it won’t come without shower chances. Another system from the northwest begins to interact with the stalled boundary off of the coast, keeping small shower chances in place. There’s more dry time, but a few showers cannot be ruled out. Highs are in the 50s. Showers chances remain for Friday. Showers are expected to be most widespread on this day. In fact, it’s a good soaking, with steady rain likely at times. Highs remain in the 50s as a result.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Gradual improvements are ahead for the weekend. Skies are mostly cloudy on Saturday, with temperatures jumping into the 60s. A few showers are still likely before yet another system approaches. This brings showers Saturday night through Sunday morning. It looks drier during the afternoon, with some sunshine too for Mother’s Day celebrations. Highs are near 70 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Monday the sunshine finally returns in full force! Highs are near 70 degrees too. The milder weather and dry conditions continue into Tuesday as well. Temperatures are well into the 70s at this point. Wednesday is still warm, but the chance for some showers sneaks in for the region.

Have a great Thursday!
