HARRISBURG, Pa. - Hundreds of people filled the streets of Harrisburg to celebrate diversity on Saturday. It's part of the annual Multicultural Festival. The festival features local talent and multi-ethnic food. It also showcases the benefits of neighbors working together to improve the community.
"I think it's important to bring people together in the community and start conversations and build community," event coordinator Julie Walter said. "I think that's the basis of any neighborhood overcoming issues and being able to talk together and share solutions together."
A parade and talent showcase were also held.
The festival has run for the last 14 years.
