CLOUDY SKIES: Where did the sun go? Those cloudy skies rolled in fast, and now we’ve got cloudy skies for a while. Look for completely cloudy skies on Tuesday. On Wednesday, we will see breaks of sun, but we’ll still have a lot of clouds in the sky. Expect fully cloudy skies on Thursday. On Friday, we start out with cloudy skies. In the evening, we’ll see the clouds break and the return of sun. We’ll keep the sun for Saturday morning, but the clouds take over Saturday afternoon.
TRACKING RAIN: Look for a few spotty showers on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Thursday night, widespread scattered showers and a thunderstorm arrive, and they slowly cross over our area. We’ll kick them out of the area early Friday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon, we’ll have more scattered showers and thunderstorms. After a break from the clouds and rain on Sunday, the clouds increase again next Monday. Next Monday evening more showers arrive.
TEMPERATURES CLIMB: Highs struggle to get past 60 on Tuesday. But, the breaks of sun on Wednesday, take us above average to the low 70s. The low 70s continue on Thursday despite the clouds because our air flow comes up from the south; we get mild air from the South. After a very seasonal high of 70 on Friday, we drop or 66 on Saturday and 62 on Sunday. Blame a series of cold fronts for the temperature drop.
