Former counselor arrested on sexual assault charges

LANCASTER, Pa. — A former counselor at T.W. Ponessa & Associates accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old female patient has been arrested in Spokane, Washington. John Homer, 71, allegedly kissed the girl with an open mouth on the lips and had her email nude pictures of herself to him. Police say when Homer got wind of the investigation, he instructed the girl to deny the report and refuse to testify.

Homer was arrested on April 27th on charges of photographing/filming a sex act with a child, sexual abuse of children, child pornography, unlawful contact with a minor, intimidation retaliation or obstruction in a child abuse case, corruption of minors, and indecent assault on a person under 16 years of age.
