MILDER WITH SHOWERS: A cold front to our west begins shifting east on Thursday. This finally pushes a warm front through the region during the day. Most of Thursday is dry, and even some sun breaks out after morning fog and haze. A late day shower is possible, mainly west of Harrisburg. Isolated showers are expected through the night. Foggy and hazy conditions form once again tonight. Lows are very mild, in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Showers move through along the cold front Friday morning through the early afternoon hours. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, especially east. Sunshine increases behind the front, and it turns quite breezy. Highs both days are milder, in the 70s.

WEEKEND COOLING: Saturday another weak system quickly moves through the region. It quickly brings clouds and even some afternoon showers. Breezy conditions usher in cooler air. Highs are in the 60s. Sunday brings some breaks of sunshine and even cooler temperatures. Expect readings in the middle to upper 50s. It’s still a breezy day. A few isolated showers could pop up throughout the region.

NEXT WEEK: Monday is a bit milder, but still below seasonable averages for this time of year. Expect highs in the lower to middle 60s. Tuesday is a touch milder, with numbers still in the 60s. There’s also the chance a shower sneaks into the forecast later during the day. Wednesday brings a chance for showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. Afternoon high temperatures are in the middle 60s.

Have a great Thursday!
