LANCASTER, Pa.– A Lancaster man will serve up to 70 years in prison after repeatedly abusing a pre-teen girl sexually.
Ramon Jusino, 37, was sentenced to 31-70 years in prison after being convicted of rape and other sex-abuse charges.
The abuse began in 2012 when the girl was 6 years old. She testified at the trial and described the abuse she endured at a Columbia Avenue home.
In January, Jusino was convicted by a jury after less than 2 hours of deliberation.
At his sentencing Tuesday, Assistant District Attorney Christopher Larsen said that the abuse will have caused harm to the girl that will last a lifetime. Larsen said that if a life-without-parole sentence was allowable by law, he would’ve requested it for Jusino.
