STEELTON, Pa.– Police are seeking a man after he was able to escape a home when officers arrived for a call of domestic abuse.

Steelton Police responded to a call on the 400 block of N. 3rd Street on Monday for a physical domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers saw David Flemister flee out of the home. Officers gave chase but were unsuccessful in apprehending him. Flemister is wanted by the Pennsylvania State Parole Office as he had failed to report as part of his parole.

The victim of the domestic abuse told police that she had been held against her will for over a week and was physically abused by Flemister.

Steelton Police have issued an arrest warrant for Flemister, charging him with unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and simple assault among other charges.

Anyone with any information to the location of David Flemister is asked to contact the Steelton Police Department at 717-939-9841.
