Showers and cooler than average temperatures linger through Wednesday.

Rain Breakdown

Shower chances dwindle through Wednesday afternoon.

SHOWERS LINGER: The pattern remains very stagnant Wednesday, meaning showers linger through the morning, and much of the afternoon. The shower coverage should thin out through the rest of the day. Temperatures are similar to yesterday, in the upper 50s to middle 60s. Models are trending with some Futurecastshowers lingering into Thursday, so we’ll be watching this. The sunshine is back for the end of the week, and temperatures are closer to seasonal averages. Highs are near 70 degrees on Thursday before creeping into the lower to middle 70s on Friday.

WET WEEKEND OUTLOOK: We’ll be watching a system that likely brings showers into the weekend forecast. The brunt of the shower activity is currently concentrated around Saturday, with a few stray showers possible Sunday. Temperatures Saturday currently look below average because of the showers, with warmer temperatures possible Sunday and widespread rain.

NEXT WEEK: The pattern remains stagnant into early next week. Despite temperatures near seasonable averages on Monday and Tuesday, we’re watching for a few remnant showers. Skies are likely partly sunny through this timeframe.

Have a great Wednesday!
