YORK, Pa.-- Planking is a form of exercise where you tighten your core and hold your position for as long as possible.

Mindy Quesenberry, from My Fitness Quest, is stopping by the set to demonstrate proper technique for how to plank.

She will challenge our anchors and the viewers at home to a plank challenge, with the results to air next Friday!

To participate in the challenge, follow this plan:

At home Plank Challenge Practice Schedule

 

Friday: 30 seconds

 

Saturday: 45 seconds

 

Sunday: 1 minute

 

Monday: 1 minute 15 seconds

 

Tuesday: 1 minute 30 seconds

 

Wednesday: 1 minute 45 seconds

 

Thursday: 2 minutes

Friday: Fox 43 Plank Challenge Day

Join the Fox team in holding your plank as long as you can.
