FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. -A pair of teenagers face charges in connection with a Wednesday afternoon shooting incident in Chambersburg. It happened at 1:51 p.m. on S. Federal Street. There were no reported injuries.
Police quickly identified Aamir Potter, 18, as a suspect in the shooting. An arrest warrant was issued charging Potter with several counts of Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threats.
Hours later Chambersburg Police made a high risk traffic stop on Eisenhower Drive of a black BMW that was believed to have been involved with the shooting, containing two people. The driver of vehicle was identified as 19 year old Devontay Kwylile Martinez. The other occupant of the vehicle was identified as Aamir Potter.
Martinez was charged with Resisting Arrest and for failing to comply with lawful orders.
Both men were taken to the Franklin County Jail for arraignment.
