YORK COUNTY, Pa. – A fire that destroyed a vacant home  in York Townships is being called suspicious. The fire was reported just after 3:30 p.m. at the house along a  secluded area just off of  the 2300 block of Spring Wood Road in York Township. The first firefighters on the scene say flames were pouring from every door and window of the home.

The house had sat vacant for years with no working utilities. A vacant home on the same lane was destroyed by fire in 2013.  York Area Regional Police are investigating.

Brian Bastinelli, a firefighter and photographer shared this picture on his Facebook page with the statement: “Companies are currently operatingon an abandoned house fire in York Township off of Springwood Road. ‪#‎jobs‬”
