Halifax man jailed for stealing tobacco

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. – A Halifax man is behind bars accused of retail theft. The incident happened on Wednesday, June 1, at the EZ Mart convenience store at 2nd and Market Streets.

Borough police say Jordan C. Deichmiller, 33, concealed 2 bags of tobacco, cigarette tubes, 2 cigars and an ashtray in his pants pockets.

Following arraignment, Deichmiller was sent to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
