HARRISBURG, Pa.– Police are searching for a suspect involved in shooting a man in the leg on Wednesday night.

At 7:40 p.m., police responded to N. 20th and North Streets for a report of a shot fired and a person that was possibly hit, but upon arrival, officers couldn’t locate the victim. They were advised that a gunshot victim was transported to Harrisburg Hospital, and found that the victim was shot in the upper part of his left leg. He is in stable condition.

The victim state that he was walking in the area when people started running and he heard a gunshot that impacted him in the leg. He was able to run from the area and received aid and a ride to the hospital from a stranger.

Anyone with information can also call the Dauphin County Police dispatch at 717-558-6900 and ask for a City detective.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
