REEDSVILLE, Pa. - The Reedsville Fire Company held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new station on Fire house Boulevard.
Back in March 2014, a compartment door accidentally opened up and took out a support wall at the old station-- causing the collapse while crews were trying to respond to a house fire. The company was already in the process of moving into a new building next door.
Now, after 2 years, the new building is finished and the crew is all moved in.
"It's a relief. [It's] very good to back in one squadron and coming from location instead of being scattered, " Fire Chief Daniel Aumiller said.
The collapse took out two of the department's four fire vehicles.
No one was hurt.
