HARRISBURG, Pa. – A Harrisburg teenager is shot because he refused to give an armed robber his bicycle.  City police responded at about 4:23 p.m. on Friday, June 4th to Harrisburg Hospital for a shooting victim who was brought in to the hospital by his mother.

The 16 year old victim told officers that he had been riding his bike in the area of the 1800 block of Primrose Street. He was approached by a black male wearing a black t-shirt up over his face and a red t-shirt over the black shirt.  The suspect demanded his bike, but the teenager refused to give it to him. The suspect pulled out a gun, shot the boy, then ran off. The victim went to a family member, who called his mother.
