CAERNARVON TWP, Lancaster Pa- State police in Lancaster are investigating after woman was assaulted with a steak knife by a man inside a residence, Tuesday evening.
The incident happened just before 5:00 p.m. along Mountain Top Lane in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County.
Police said 48-year-old William Manning, of Narvon, Pa, grabbed a 4 inch steak knife and started to chase a 25-year-old woman around the house.
Manning then threw the knife at the woman striking her on the left side of her chest, under her collar-bone, police said.
The woman was injured with a half-inch cut that opened up and bleed.
Police are now charging Manning with simple assault, recklessly endangering and harassment.
