Lebanon man arrested on sexual assault charges involving a minor

LEBANON, Pa. – Police charge Clair Franklin Watson, Jr., 33, of Lebanon, with incest of a person aged 13-18 following an investigation into a January incident in Palmyra Borough.

That investigation began on March 15 after police responded to a call in the 800 block of E. Main Street in Palmyra.

Charges against Watson were approved on Tuesday, June 7. He charged with Incest of a Minor, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Sexual Assault, Aggressive Indecent Assault without Consent, Promoting Prostitution of a Minor, and Criminal use of a Communications Facility, according to court documents. He was also charged with misdemeanor Corruption of Minors, two counts of Indecent Assault without Consent of Other, and Patronizing Prostitutes.

Watson was arraigned at 12:35 p.m. and confined to the Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $150,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 20 at central court.
