Man robs Rite Aid for oxycodone

New Middletown Borough Police Contract

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. –  Middletown Borough Police are on the lookout for the suspect in the robbery of the Rite Aid pharmacy in the 300 block of East Main Street.  It happened at 4:58 p.m. Thursday.

A white male, 5 feet 7 to9 inches tall, skinny in his 20’s with a reddish brown beard and wearing a blue hoodie and dirty blue jeans with a black hat and sunglasses walked into the store and up to the pharmacy counter.  He presented a note that indicated he wanted an undisclosed amount of oxycodone and stated that if he got the pills, no one would get hurt.

The witnesses reported that the male left the store on foot out to Vine Street Southbound out of sight.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the crime should call the Middletown Police at (717) 558-6900 and request to speak to the on-duty supervisor.  There will be further information regarding a reward for the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
