LANCASTER, Pa- A Lancaster man is arrested after he fired multiple shots  at an occupied car early Sunday morning.

According to police, just before 2:00 p.m. Calaudio Hernandez, 70,  fired a gun into an occupied car along the 100 block of Prince Street.

No one was struck when Hernandez fired the shots police said. Arriving officers  at the scene say they found Hernandez semiconscious on the sidewalk and a victim with a hand injury on the west side of the street.

The male victim told police, he was sitting inside his car in the parking lot of Prince of Subs located at 147 S. Prince Street, when he heard several gunshots. The victim said he then heard glass break and a tire “pop” on his vehicle.

The victim got out and approached Hernandez, and got into a small fight causing Hernandez to drop the handgun. The victim injured his hand during the fight and Hernandez was left semiconscious.

The victim and Hernandez were taken to local hospitals for treatment for their injuries.

Officers recovered the handgun and determined it had been stolen.

Physical evidence and video aided police during the preliminary investigation and they concluded the victim’s account of the incident was accurate.

Hernandez and the victim know each other, and the incident does not appear to be a random act of violence police said.

Police have charged Hernandez with aggravated assault; receiving stolen property; person not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms; discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure; recklessly endangering another person; and discharging a firearm in Lancaster city.
