York police identify victim in fatal shooting

YORK, Pa. – York City Police have identified the victim in a fatal shooting early Thursday evening.   Officers responded to a report of shots fired at about 6:20 p.m. in the area of the south end of the city.

Soon after,  police received a call of an unresponsive man on ground in the area of the 400 Block of South Court Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Davonne Swan, 27, on the ground with gunshot wounds to his torso.   Swan was declared deceased at the scene by the York County Coroner.
