FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. – A Gettysburg man is charged in the attempted robbery of a Franklin County pharmacy on Monday, June 20.

Zachary Edward Kuhn, 25, shot while attempting to rob the Antietam Pharmacy, in Waynesboro, has been charged in connection with the incident.  Kuhn, wearing a mask, walked into the pharmacy shortly after 5 p.m. waving a handgun in a threatening manner and demanding Oxycodone and cash. The owner of the pharmacy, fearing for his life and his  employees, shot Kuhn several times with his personal handgun.

Charges against Kuhn include Robbery, Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering another Person.

He is still hospitalized and listed in critical condition at York Trauma Center.
