Man arrested for allegedly throwing hammer at woman walking her dogs

UPDATE: Brandon Williams was arrested Thursday evening at around 9PM.

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Harrisburg City Police have a warrant for the arrest of Brandon Williams, 23 for allegedly throwing a hammer at a woman, while she was walking her dogs in the city’s uptown area.   It happened at 8:38 a.m. in the 1500 block of Green Street.

The victim told police that she was walking her two dogs when a hammer flew past her. She then saw a black male wearing gray and black camouflage clothing running towards her. The man grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the ground. The victim began yelling and threw the hammer out into the street. The man, later identified as Williams, retrieved the hammer and ran away.

Anyone with information on Williams whereabouts is asked to call the Dauphin County Police dispatch at (717) 558-6900 and speak to an officer.
