Man, juvenile charged in strong robbery of trail walker
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. -Jay Tyler Bard, 28, remains jailed on charges involving the robbery of a rail trail walker. It happened about 11 o’clock Wednesday night, June 22 on the Rail Trail behind the CVS pharmacy at 125 W. Washington Street in Chambersburg.
The female victim was knocked to the ground and her purse forcibly taken from her by Bard and a juvenile male. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries suffered during the attack.
Chambersburg Borough Police later located Bard and the juvenile. Both were charged with Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.
